Ok, I’m a sucker for Southern soul. He feels like all the obvious references, but for me a little reminiscent of …..dating myself now…..Grayson Hugh and Chris Whitley featured in a film, I suppose about 100 years ago, called Thelma & Louise. Good storytelling, takes its time, nurturing and soulful. At least I’m consistent! The world needs more nurturing for sure and the soul in this kid’s voice keeps it dirty but inviting.
