BIO:

Jim Fairchild was born and raised in California’s Central Valley. He spent the early years of his professional life as a member of Grandaddy. Following the band’s split in 2005, Jim has gone on to release three albums and an EP of his own songs under the name All Smiles. He is currently a member of Modest Mouse and will join Grandaddy for a few reunion shows this summer. Mostly Cloudy, Morning Night recorded at Jim’s Seclusion Studio in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco, is All Smiles first commercially released collection of instrumental music.
